    Apple apps (text edit, calculator, installer, disk utility) freeze

    Hi, I am running 10.3.9 on a PowerBook G4. I installed a bunch of fonts (through Font Book) about 2 years ago, and since that time some of my apple apps freeze from time to time. Namely, Calculator, Text Edit and Safari I also noticed that in this state, the AutoUpdates don't download...
