    Two finders

    Mac G4 OS 10.5.8 and I have two finders listed in the force close window. Tell system to relaunch the finder and one goes away for a short while bur comes back.

    DVD Player Missing

    I have upgraded my G3 beige with a 500mhz G4 zif, 768megs of ram, 6megs of vram, a superdrive and 100gig HD. I have to use VLC to play DVDs. Have done a search for DVD player but no luck. Any ideas? Norm :rolleyes:

    Microtek scanner

    Beige G3, 410 meg ram, Panter 3.3.5, Microtek 4800 scanner, Scanwizard 5.v716 software. Loads but when click on scan, get errer code -143. No referance to this code at Apple. What is it and how do you fix it?
