I have a G3 iBook and want to upgrade from 10.3 to Tiger but only have a CD-rw drive.
If I get a firewire to IDE kit and hook up one of my spare DVD roms/rw drives will I be able to boot the Tiger disc from that? I would use my younger brothers iMac with a dvd rom but he knackered it...
