on my old eMac I get realy wierd crashes where parts of screen would scramble up and look really messed up. there is an example attached. does any1 know what the problem is? it has 10.4.7, 788MB RAM. hardware tested ok. OS reinstalled and still problems.

Hi guys, just a quicky. Is it possible to have the desktop on an external hard drive? ie, so if i drag a file to the desktop it will copy to the external hard drive instead of the internal. if so how do i do this? I dont want to boot from the external drive though. Thanks
