You don't actually "uninstall" phpmyadmin. It is just a web application. Just delete the phpmyadmin directory.

Couldn't you just have an adjusment layer on top of the entire stack? Would be quicker to change colors that way i think.

I think it looks great. Myabe if it were a deeper orange/red it might "shine" a bit more, but overall, it looks fu@k*** cool ;)

from what i have read, photoshop 8 will have non destructive filter layers much like adjustment layers. I cannot wait to have that feature. the one thing i wish they would introduce is a way to group layers in non linear (maybe i should say grouping without the dependency on the layer stack)...
