My wife uses the thunderbird email client. When she opens emails attachments she says they automatically get saved on the desktop. This makes it very cluttered. Is there a way to turn off this feature so it doesn't do that. Any advise would be great. Thanks in advance

i can hear it trying to eject but nothing moves, just the noise it makes when it normally spits it out. I miss the old school hole where you could shove a paper clip. I guess it's to the shop on Monday. Agh. Appreciate your help.

I have a dvd stuck in my macbook drive. I've tried all the options on my computer and what is suggested on the apple.com support. It's the new 13" macbook and there doesn't seem to be a place to manually show a paperclip in like my older machines. Any thoughts?
