Update, now when I plug in my USB reciever, the "Unidentified Keyboard, press the key to the right of your left shift" prompt doesn't pop up, but neither can I use my mouse. I switched the mouse on, but the light on my reciever thats plugged into my USB port is not on.

I have a MacBook, equipped with Mac OS X 10.4.9 Tiger. I went over to Target and got a Targus brand Mini Wireless Optical Mouse, model PAWM004, which I can't find on the company support site. I plugged the wireless reciever into my USB port, and instead of a mouse setup, I get a keyboard...
