thanks for the response. im running tiger and have a "think outside" keyboard that was built for pdas. it worked fine before i reinstalled tiger and told it my keybaord was Japanese. also im using the built in adapter. thanks again!

each time my bluetooh keyboard disconnects and reconnects it gets set to a Japanese layout and i have to manually set it to ansi usa layout. any idea how to fix this? thanks
