I've been working on a Powerpoint presentation. I saved a lot as I worked. Out of curiosity, I went into "Make a Movie" mode and didn't do much withit because Powerpoint "quit unexpectedly." I relaunched and went to open my ppt file again and it's GONE!

It's missing from my Applications folder. The icon in the dock has a question mark over it, signifying that it can't find the app. I can reload the app from the original disk, but I didn't know if it would overwrite the data that's in there now. I still have the AddressBook.data file.

My address book app is missing for some reason. Have I lost all of my contacts and addresses? What would cause this to happen (outside of trashing the app, manually)? Thanks
