    doesn't matter. i got a copy of 10.4 and that's good enough for me someone told me yesterday that you can't jump from 10.3 to 10.5 and that was probably my problem

    to use my new $200 ipod i need to buy a $130 operating system?

    i have 10.3.9 but the ipod says it needs 10.4.9 to run and i just can't seem to wrap my head around this. are there "alternative" ways of getting 10.4? please help
