Yes, actual OS 9 has always asked to save changes when shutting down; it's just a problem with Classic. It doesn't matter which program, (such as Photoshop 6, Illustrator 9, Multi Ad Creator 4.0.5, etc.) just which computer.

When I have Classic program files open that have changes that need to be saved, when I go to the menu bar and stop Classic, it stops without asking to save the changes. The screen goes black in places for a split second as Classic is quitting. I've seen it ask to save changes on other computers...
