Recently many applications crash upon opening - particularly Skype, Messenger. This is consistent, I can't open them at all, even after rebooting. I haven't made any recent updates to my OS. Thinking this might be the problem, I downloaded 10.4.11 (PPC) but can't get it to install as that...
