I mean see the benchmarsk for Quake on the G5 and Xeons..its like 240 to 325 fps..thas ridiculous.......up to when would you think....you dont even notice the lag?????? Thats what I wanna know.........do we need up to that much FPS for games like that..man Im lucky to get 40 or maybe even 30 on...

Well My friend from Frisco Area said he got to play with the G5 at the apple store??? Is this true? Are they just showing them off. If it is. Man Im going there right away do some software and gaming tests on them...SEE the REAL difference and SPEED for MYself???/ AGreee?????? G5 Pimp

Well I design and prep files every day... Just recently with OSX JAG...10.2.6 well on .5 too... every time I resave or save a file..the Icon Preview changes.......Like one second its the preivew that it should be then the next minute...it turns into a folder or a SIT file..whatever is around...

So does this mean we can just put a third party Card in there and it would work.. like A Qaudro or somthing like that for high end workstations????

Weird.Im a graphic designer so I prep and open files soooo many times a day to go to press and sometimes when I save to Tiff or other settings, what not...the Alias turns into totaly something else. but its still that file...like I would have a back an and front..after savign and converting...
