I cannot seem to shutdown or restart from the apple menu. Every time i try, Finder will quit, but i am left with a blue screen and the mouse pointer. Holding Command+Option+Esc shows that nothing is running, so cannot relaunch Finder. Console reports the following on attempted shutdown...
