Mozy Mac and Spotlight
Came across a blog a few minutes after I posted my question.... Looks like MSO 2007 files can be specified in Mozy Mac with the following search string: kMDItemContentType == "org.openxmlformats.*" Found that content types can be read out with mdls in terminal.- oschneidem

Mozy Mac and Spotlight
Mac newbie here ... I am using Mozy Mac to backup data. Most file extensions that I need to backup are indexed by Spotlight and I can thus specify them in the Mozy backup config. Exception: PPTX, DOCX, and XLSX (yes, I also have some MSO 2007 files...). Curious fact: since I have NeoOffice...- oschneidem
