Hi, I've added an .Xdefaults file to my home directory on MAC OSX (OS 10.4.11, X11 1.1.3) but it has no effect on my default xterm. I should be using a bash shell as I've made no changes to the defaults in X11. I can effect the terminal colors by customizing my applications menu in X11...
