    patch burn does not work with leopard and will never do

    i have a IDE Sony DVD RW DW-Q120A. It does not get detected in Leo--neither pre-installation nor post-installation----also tried a friend's Sony DW-G120A----which works in his Leo but not mine. However, all DVD RW do work with IDE to USB. Any solutions for this problem? Thanks in advance.
