Try Network Diagnostics. I sometimes with Leopard get that problem. I get the first 3 in green, but ISP, Internet, and Server in red. I just go through it and it's fine.

Do you know if those small HDDs that are between 160-320GB and powered by USB are as good as a larger external one? I would like to have 200GB [mac partition] for Time Machine, and a 50GB windows partition for taking my friends music/school.
