I just got ProTools LE and installed it on Windows XP. It ran but would not "start" because it did not detect some kind of hardware. Does ProTools require a certain PCI or USB hookup or something?

I want to get into Protools but I'm not sure what I'll need to run it. Can I use an iMac? Do I need a tower G3/G4? What processor speed does Protools run fine at? Mac OS9 compatibility? The big question I have is what CPU speed you have to have to rock some ProTools. Can someone enlighten me...
