http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=7483573 i use a mac book pro. i do not have the problem on my mac pro. weird lots of people have this problem and no one has a solution. i even went to the genius bar and they couldn't sort it either.

I have tried an archive and re install but this has not solved the issue and I am just using other mail applications which is not very satisfactory.
