I've got an iMac G5 with 1.8GHz and 512MB Ram ( I know I need more). So will I have a problem with Tiger? Will I have to reload all of my applications? Thanks!

Is there a way to upgrade directly to OS 10.5 (from 10.3.9) or do I need to buy OS 10.4 then upgrade from there?
