    Is it me, or is Xcode buggy?

    Mastering the NetInfo database

    The easiest way to maintain groups is to use (as previously mentioned) 'nidump group / > /etc/group'. Now you can use your favorite editor and it that file. When you're ready to update NetInfo use 'niload group / < /etc/group'. Brian G.

    My Panther first Impressions and discoveries - Post here

    Found a neat feature of Expose', while performing a drag operation, you can hit F9 (keeping the mouse button pressed), pick a destination and drop. Works with the F11 (Show Desktop) also. Very handy. Brian G.

    HOW TO: start your default web browser with one unix command

    And NEVER, NEVER (did I say NEVER) put your scripts in /usr/bin. Use ~/bin or /usr/local/bin for your stuff. I really makes it much easier to backup and restore if you know what is yours and what is owned by the system. Brian G.

    Problems with DVD Player

    Has anyone else noticed that the the DVD Player application does a poor job of dealing with "video" type material. Material at 30fps exibits a combing artifact while 24fps is fine. Many software DVD Players have a Film/Video mode so that this doesn't happen. Does anyone know of a better...
