    I'm working on mac pro dual quad core (nehalem) with 24 GB ram. It seems to be the case that the ram is "partitioned" evenly between the cores, 24/8 = 3 GB per core, at least when I run a program, if the RAM usage for the process reaches 3 GB, I get an out of memory error. Is there a way...
