I don't think I could have pushed the small button any harder. I always heard it "click" and could feel it move. While I was hammering away at the reset key i just maintained the same steady pressure that i had on the programmer key. Beats me what happened.

Normally I get a tone, but when I hold down the programmer button I get no sound and no video. The instructions say release the button after the tone, but it never comes. Marc
