Previously (in Tiger) if I dragged a picture icon from Preview sidebar to Photoshop it would open in Photoshop and would be closed in Preview. Or if I drag it away from Preview window the picture would close. After upgrading from Tiger to Snow Leopard pictures wouldn't close any more by dragging...
