i can log in, however when the screen changes like it would normally to go to my background, i am logged out immediately back to the log in page. I have tried to log in on safe mode with no success, also >console - i can type my username but not my password. Has it crashed? if so/if not what...

My password is accepted on log in, however it logs out immiediately after and returns to log in page. I tried >console to put in my username and password however only my username can be typed in. Has it crashed? if so / if not what needs to be done?
