    I sampled both syslogd and mDNSResponder while they were running away (it seems that really mDNSResponder is the one running away, while syslogd is just sucking cpu since it is so busy logging the flood from mDNSResponder.) attached are the sample files

    Thank you for the quick reply, I don't use IPv6, and IPv6 was already disabled on my mac, and I cannot find a setting for it on my router. I have never enabled it on my router and as far as I can tell, there aren't any options for it anyways. FYI I have a linksys E3000 with stock firmware.
