It should work if you have two users. A bluetooth adapter on his iMac is probably safer though. If he or you sync while the other user is logged in you will end up with a total mess.

Why would it not run faster on a G3? It just does if you have enough memory even a 233 mHz machine runs much faster (I have one running B74 and it runs great). It seems that they optimized the OS to perform even better then 10.2 allready did.

Web Access should be on and you should use Exchange higher then 5.5 (i think). It should work with exchange 2000 and 2003 en OWA on. HTH

I did not install anything for PHP on this machine. It is my powerbook and I normaly don't do any webserver stuff on it. It was a clean panther install and the cli was on it. They did also provide the apache mod, so that is totaly usable out of the box. hth.

I have the B44 running on 2 original iMacs (the 233 ones) one has 128 Mb the other 196, the one with 196 runs OK the other one is somewhat sluggish at times. So I think the bottom line is Max out the RAM and it will work wel enough to work on.

Is it just me or is rendezvous broken in B44. I checked it on my other panther machine which is an orange imac and there it did work. It is now also working on my powerbook, so I guess it was a temporary glitch ;-).

Just one thing I discover B28 is that it is the first version of panther that does not want to install on a machine with only 96 Megabytes. One of my test machine's has only that and I did install B21 on it.
