The iTunes thing is probably a skin for Media Player, etc. The dock is a 3rd party app I think... Over all it looks good :)

Herve, PowerMacs are not always G3/G4/G5 processors. The first PowerMacs were 601, then I think 603/603e, then 604. Then they went to G3/G4/G5. As far as I know, there were no G3 Performas from Apple. There might be upgrades though. Hope that helps :)

Hello all! I got a Voodoo3 2000 PCI card for my Mac a while back, and now since MacOS X can't use it, I need to put it in my POS Windows box. By any chance does anyone still have the PC ROM file so I can re-flash the card? Or a link to a site that has it would be wonderful too! Thanks!

Hello all, I got one of these cards awhile back, when I thought they would be around longer :/ So anyway, up through 10.0.4 it worked great, now with the 10.1 update, it's dead. Are there drivers on the 10.0 disk I can copy to reactivate it? Thanks!

Actually a mix of the 2. I had 10.0.4 on it's own partition. When I got the update CD, I ran the installer, and selected format target. Then 10.1 installed on the newly formatted drive. I only clarify to say that I didn't have the full install disc, just the update.

I did a clean install as well :) and in the process pissed of my girldfriend by erasing all her stuff too on accident :/

really? I have a beige 266, and 10.1 is faster for me than 9.2.1 is... I'm not going back to 9.x if I have any say about it :) I hardly ever get the rainbow ball, and IE is much faster under 10.1

Anyone out there move their older mac to a new case? If you have pics, please post them, or email me and I can host them for you. I was thinking about getting a pc case and moving my g3 desktop internals over to that. Is there a company that makes more mac-friendly cases? Thanks!
