One of the reason Apple is not increasing it's market share is the fact that the hardware last much longer. Try running Quark, Photoshop or Window XP on a 400 mhz Pentium. When you buy a Mac you know that you will not have to upgrade for at least a couple of year. A cheap PC will be outdated...
