Hello All I've noticed that when my PB goes to sleep (or, more critically, when I close the lid to walk around) I tend to lose the network connections on most of my networked apps. Is there any way I can defeat or modify this behavior? Case in point - this PB exists in a mostly Unix...

G4 PowerBook, OSX 10.3.3, stock Apple X11 1.0 (Xfree86 4.3.0). It's the same Xdefaults I use on a few other Unix and Unix-like boxes. Not sure why X11 doesn't read it. Thanks - JB

Hello All Any idea on how to specify a hostname for a DHCP connection? DHCP can request a hostname and it's up to the DHCP server to allow it. Is this what "Client ID" is in the DHCP setup? Be nice to have a hostname instead of a numeric DHCP address :-) Thanks - JB

Hmm. Well, I paid to register QT and that got me nothing as far as Indeo is concerned. A little googling showed me that Indeo5 is available for OS9 but not OSX.... Do I need to pay for yet another QT upgrade for Classic to view these videos? WIll QT under OS9 allow me to export them in another...
