Thanks-- I did trash my preferences, and so far---so good! My problem is that I'm so used to AOL---I hate to change, and I'm afraid " you can't teach an old dog new tricks". One of these days I'll go with DSL and then just access AOL by using BYOA.

AOl crashes on me ALOT---in the middle of doing financial business, writing e-mail, etc I have an eMAC running Panther. This problem is getting worse,and I just can't get any help from AOL. I have had "chats" with Wynnsel, Noel,Jerome,Verrel,and Jamae---in the middle of all of this...
