We 'v also 5 G4 on OS 10.3.9 and we have exactly the same problem that you with a Windows 2000 server SP4 via TCP/IP (fixed adresses).

I've the same think with my 5 G4 Mirror (512Mo RAM) and a Windows 2000 Server shared folder (smb or afp).
