    Quake 3 static sound?

    I think I recall seeing somewhere that when you run the G4 app it is prone to static in some configs. Try using the non-altivec Quake 3 app.

    2. More RAM will only help your loading times between maps etc in games. It won't speed up your frame rate. It might stop random pausing and jerking though.
