Well, reinstall did the trick, and seemed to take care of a few other random crashes taht were occurring other programs too. Thanks for the advice - in retrospect, I don't know why I didn't think of this to begin with.... Brian

Thanks...I'll give it a shot with Quicktime. And shoudl I just reinstall IPhoto from the Ilife CD? THanks, Brian

Hmm...now I'm confused. I installed IPhoto from the ILife 04 install disc, not the OS install disk. Then I updated both IPhoto and Quicktime from the downloadable updates on the Apple website. Should I try reinstalling the two applications from the ILife disc? Thanks again for the help...
