I tried erasing and then reinstalling 9.2, but it still won't run. Can someone provide more detailed instructions on what I should do?

I just installed Tiger on my Power Mac G4 and now Classic won't start up. The window opens but nothing seems to happen. Is there anything else I can do besides reinstalling Classic? Thanks in advance.
