No solution, just wanted to say that I'm running into the same problem. It appears that the hot-spot or click location becomes offset from the cursor. This seems to be on a per-window basis. Quitting and restarting apps helps, and of course, a reboot sets things back.

I'm running into the same issue. What appears to be happening is that the actual hot spot location or click location becomes offset from the cursor location. This appears to be on a per-window basis. Sometimes quitting an app and restarting helps. Rebooting is sometimes necessary.
