You may not want to get the fastest harddrive for any old iMac(rev A-D) I read in a Macworld or a Machome that replacing the harddrive with one that runs at 7200 rpm may create to much heat. they sudjested you stick with the slower rpm. You wouldn't want to let your little iMac get to hot...
