It has been recomended to me that Disk Warrior may be the solution to this problem. Does anybody have a conformation as to this remedy?

I have tried to reinstall OS X but when it gets to "Select Destination" it won't let me proceed from that point. The disk icon will not highlight. Also I ran a "Disk First Aid" in OS 9 and this came up, error: invalid key lenght, 4 1047. Any idea what that might mean?
