Though this seems useful, it didn't do anything. Patchburn said there isn't a dvd burner installed. If the dvd drive didn't power up this wouldn't confuse me. Thanks for the info though. Now at least I have patchburn.

I just replaced my dead superdrive with a panasonic UJ845B in my 15 inch Powerbook (titanium) 1ghz System preferences says there's no information found. Unfortunately, my rampant searches on the internet have found nothing useful regarding this, so I can only assume a couple things...
