Not sure. I don't have anything else FW to check with. Brand new imac. I've only had it since Christmas. Had to take it in for repair for faulty cd/dvd drive though. Maybe I have a lemon? If there is nothing else in the os to check - then I'll have to take it in I guess.

Tried your suggestions, no dice! I checked the finder - all the checkmarks are on. In Disk Utility - it doesn't see the pocket drive. I checked Lacie - I have all the latest drivers as they were installed in my os. Anything else I can try?
