I'm a newbie and ran into some problems when I set up my server, I set the IP address to 192.168.1.3. However, I later decided that I wanted it to be 192.168.1.6 and changed it. But then I noticed that when you log on from an OS X client, there are two servers at the 2 different addresses...

You are right about the Japanese characters. All the question marks seem to be files that are Japanese. I guess I'll have to try to find some replacement for the terminal that reads kanji. Thanks.

Some files and directories in Terminal show up as ???????. Does anyone know what the problem is and how to fix it? Thanks, Gary
