good news guys :].... i took out the RAM again and put it into the other slot.. but this time when i booted it up i only used the AC with the battery out and it worked.

as i said in my first post... already tried the memory slot thing.

i was thinking of taking out the hard drive and taking it to a apple store with a genius bar...... i cant take the powerbook with my hard drive because i have some things that are not ment to be seen =X... files and all.... what is the safest way to take out the hard drive without damaging...

the closest thing i found to my problem was is.. http://www.macosx.com/content/faq.php/q22604/Blinking-Powerbook-G4.html and i tried what the replyer suggested and i think i have a backlight error

it wasnt the batter LEDs.... its was the white sleep button that u use to unlatch the screen...... the pattern was short short short long.

i checked the serial numbers that were affected... and my computer wasnt in the batch
