As far as I know, it's not possible to run MIT Scheme in MacBooks. A very good alternative, specially if you're learning, is DrScheme (or its command line version, MzScheme, if you prefer to run it from Emacs). It's available at http://plt-scheme.org. Another possibility is scheme48...
