    Quicken and multiple users

    I checked with Quicken's technical support to see if there was another way to do it and they said that it is what they suggest doing. So, I would guess if it's their recommendation, it's okay. Ours is on the same machine, just two different users. Maybe that's the difference.

    I got it to work. I obviously changed all of the permissions on the data file and the quicken files. But, there was a file tucked away under quicken's folder called "quicken essentials" it is a file called "quicken quotes" once I gave that one r/w access to both of us it started working...
