Hi, I ended up taking my laptop to the Apple store and the "genius" basically copied my Library (/users/<user>/Library) to the Desktop so OS X could create a new version. I'm having the same issue with my nano. I tried backing up, then restoring both iCal and Address Book, but still see the same issue. Something to do with the MacBook Pro firmware update?- desertmonkey
