    Slow Mac G5 Startup

    Thank you Dale. I tried what you suggested and this will only work w/Tiger. I am currently using Panther. I did try and locate this for my current operating system and could not. Any further suggestions?

    Slow mac tp pc transfer

    I am transfering large files to and from mac and pc over a 100m LAN. Im using OSX 10.2 and win2000. When I transfer files I get a really slow transfer rate, about 10k/s it doesnt make any difference if i use the mac to connect to the pc through a windows share or the pc to connect to the mac...
