When I installed the 10.1.1 update i read something about support for hardware acceleration for external displays for NEW Powerbook G4s.... well after the install when I try to run a TV as my external monitor all I get are squiggly lines on screen. Does anyone know what happened and if there is a way to fix this. I was hoping this update would allow me to watch DVDs on my TV without having to restart and close the laptop... any help would be appreciated...

It's support for hardware video MIRRORING on external displays. Not sure why you're getting the squiggly lines (unless its a mismatch in resolution/frequency between your TV and monitor). I don't think it was supposed to fix the DVD thing - that's something that needsfixing within the DVD player itself, I believe.
