10.2 Network settings lost after sleep

Hi,

I have a computer that's running OS X 10.2 with a wireless card. I need to use VPN to connect to my university network, and I'm able to connect just fine (native VPN). The problem is that when I put the computer to sleep, I lose all the network settings (ip address, router etc).

I haven't been able to find anyone else with this problem, so I was hoping someone might offer a piece of advice.

Thanks,
Kris

I found the problem: The CISCO VPN 5000 Client was installed. It can create problems with renewal of DHCP IP addresses on OS 10.2. Uninstalling the Cisco client made everything work smoothly.
