I would like to know if anyone with a G4 450 or 500 has notice an improvement in window resizing speed/smoothness with 10.2. Also, please let me know your video card. Mail and IE are the worst - if anyone could please let me know how your window resizing is on these apps with 10.2, it would help with my peace of mind.
I have a G4 450 with a Radeon 8500 (a QE supported card), 1 GB of RAM and running 2 19" VGA monitors and window resizing is just as jerkey and clunky as 10.1.5. With all the nice things about 10.2, I am obsessed with this one issue - I want nice smooth window resizing! ATI didn't have answers, but told me to look for new drivers on their site (some day - right now the only drivers come with 10.2).
P.S. I am running 4.1.8 firmware - anyone think upgrading that to 4.2.8 would help?
